SmartMod I/O is a great choice for expanding next generation OCS when you need one, two or a few more digital or analog I/O. Because SmartMod I/O are so compact, they will fit in the smallest spaces.
The SmartStack Fiber Optic Expansion (FOX) Base extends a high-speed OCS backplane enabling SmartStack I/O Modules to be mounted several meters from the OCS. The new FOX significantly increases the number of SmartStack I/O modules supported by one OCS Series controller, provides two mounting options and supports glass fiber optic cable.
New Signal Converters allow you to expand the XLe (or any OCS) to more applications. These devices are designed to transform XLe controller I/O to support alternate signal types and voltages such as AC In and AC Out.
